Living Room
In the living room, the massive stone fireplace is a big draw on a cold winter's night. A pair of fur-covered Caribou lounge chairs from Shimna flank George Smith's tufted Knight ottoman. The Barley Twist floor lamp is from Sedgwick & Brattle, while the urn is from Gabby Home. The detailed twig chandelier comes from Wish Designs USA, hung from a ceiling painted in Benjamin Moore's Day's End.

Flexible Arrangement
Instead of one big coffee table, designer Thom Filicia combined two Element tables by ABC Carpet & Home with playful Arthur benches from Oly for a more flexible arrangement in the living room. The Grace sofa is covered in Panama by Andrew Martin, while the Parc sofa is donned in a walnut base by Hudson Furniture. The Turkish rug is from Sacco Carpet.

Kitchen Seating
The kitchen includes a spacious sitting area, made even more cozy by the modern equivalent of a pot-bellied stove. The Kilim-covered Jules sofa is by George Smith. The Modern Spa coffee table is by Ralph Lauren Home, topped with a mahogany slab from Worth for Wyeth. The curved wood chair is from Shimna, while the Vintage Erling Jessen chairs by the fireplace are from BAC. The dining chair is from Palecek and the cargo pendants are from Urban Archaeology.

One wall in the kitchen functions as a bar area. The Viking range is in Cobalt Blue and the sink faucet is from Dornbracht.

Dining Room
Custom-painted Sack-Back Windsor settees from Great Windsor Chairs make the dining room feel more informal. The Gunnison chair is from Hickory Chair and the Claro table hails from Hudson Furniture. The bronze chandeliers are from Mecox, and the rug is courtesy of Sacco Carpet.

Study
A vintage aluminum desk and stool from Wyeth hit a midcentury-modern note in the study. The Blanket Zig Zag wallcovering by David Rockwell is for Maya Romanoff. Chicken-wire bookcases are from Lucca Antiques, and the vintage garden ball hails from Balsamo Antiques.

Master Bedroom
The Brownstone Furniture bed in the master bedroom is "light and airy — a little Shaker, in a way," says Filicia. A dhurrie rug from Carpet Culture suggests a crisp, modern patchwork quilt. The bed is made up with a Pendleton Woolen Mills blanket. The Manila Hemp wallcovering from Phillip Jeffries echoes the sky.

Kids' Room
A custom mural in the kids' room transforms the ceiling into a canopy of trees. The bunk beds are from Green-Touch and the bedding hails from Anorak. The moroccan poufs are by John Derian while the chairs come from Giggle. Filicia chose the Sedgwick & Brattle light fixture "so it would feel as if they're looking up at the stars at night."

Custom Sectional
The whole family can pile onto a custom sectional by Montauk Sofa in the den. The sculptural wood tables are from Chista, and the faux-bois chair is from Oly. The ottoman hails from Hickory Chair, and table lamp is from Aero. The vintage floor lamp is from 1stdibs. The window bay is warmed up with more of that embroidered felt wall covering — Blanket Zig Zag from Maya Romanoff. The trim paint is Benjamin Moore's Day's End. The rug is from Sacco Carpet.
